Snorkeling (also known as skin diving) is one of best ways to have fun in the water and Hawaii is one of the best places to have vacation. What happens when you combine them both. Snorkeling is certainly the easiest and least expensive way to enjoy Hawaii's underwater reefs and marine paradise. All you need is a mask, snorkel and fins. Snorkeling is defined as the use of a mask to see underwater anda snorkel to breathe comfortably while looking down from the surface. Snorkelers may also use fins, buoyancy vests, and exposure suits, although this equipment may not be necessary depending on the environment.

Snorkeling is one of the favorite activities visitors do while in Hawaii and Hanauma Bay is a destination everyone wants to go to. There are tours which include everything you need including clean, dry snorkel equipment, safety snorkeling vests, beach mats, bottled water, snacks, lock box and roundtrip transportation from all Hawaii hotels. Snorkeling is probably one activity that you will want to experience if you visit Hawaii.

On the other side of the United States is the Caribbean Sea. Turneffe is a private island off the coast of Belize that offers world-class snorkeling features warm Caribbean waters, a myriad of tropical reef creatures, underwater caves, and incredible coral structures.

Snorkeling is easy and very relaxing, just breathe through the snorkel. While snorkeling in Australia on Ningaloo Reef, amazingly colorful tropical fish can be seen swimming amongst the corals. Just remember to carry a knife just in case you run into a shark. And before jumping into the water, make sure your watch is rated for diving underwater.

The perfect snorkeling sites should include some sheltered coral reefs as well as offshore rocks and walls.
